Brian 'Pitbull' Moore

March 16th 2007
Café de Paris, Monaco

The 2007 Celebrity Lunch in Monaco season, organised by Azur Productions, kicks off on Friday 16th March with one of the rugby world's most colourful characters. Brian Moore, better known as 'The Pitbull' for his combative style of play, is guest speaker at the Café de Paris for the first of these business networking events.

As a cost effective opportunity to make new contacts, entertain clients or simply to reward employees at the end of a busy week, the four-a-year Celebrity Lunches have become firm fixtures on the Principality's calendar. The quality of the speakers has been paramount in securing their popularity as a business rendez-vous, and this rugby legend more than lives up to the standard set over the last four years.

A qualified solicitor, trained manicurist - yes, it's true! - and sought after TV and radio commentator, Brian, 44, brings a sharp and articulate wit to his after dinner speeches. An outspoken personality as well being England's most capped hooker (64), he is sure to have a controversial take on the state of English rugby in the run up to the World Cup this autumn in France. What's more, he will be in Monaco the day before the final matches of the Six Nations Tournament - England beware!

The format for the lunch allows plenty of opportunity to chat with Brian about the French tipple - he's also been a wine columnist - the 'gay slap' furore and aeroplane impressions on Sydney Harbour bridge. Proceedings begin at 12 noon with aperitives on the panoramic terrace of the Salon Bellevue at the Café de Paris, followed by a three-course luncheon with wine and coffee. Brian takes to the podium at 2pm and although the event officially ends at 3pm, a cash bar is available for those who wish to carry on networking.
